The Original painting was created in conjunction with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.  The inspiration behind the painting’s theme were the colorful, illustrated posters from the 30+ movies that Elvis starred in.  The images chosen represent the span of Elvis’ career starting with The King posing in the gold lame suit, first warn in 1957, in the bottom left corner. The bottom right image shows Elvis dressed in one of his infamous rhinestone jumpsuits from the Aloha from Hawaii Concert in ‘73. The two central, larger images were taken from his televised ‘68 Comeback Special.  The mock movie poster sits on top of past movie posters including: Elvis on Tour (1972), It Happened at the Worlds Fair (1963) and The Trouble with Girls (1969).”
