A Hall of Fame Artist

Sports Artist Adam Port, Cedarhurst, presented a painting to the 2009 Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Inductees at a ceremony on Sept. 12.  His artwork was unveiled in front of this year's class, headlined by Michael Jordan, at the Hall's exclusive Celebaratin Dinner at Mohegan Sun.  Port, who is a graduate of Hewlett High School, was chosen by the Hall of Fame to be the official artist for this year's event.  his realistic hand-painted art includes all five inductees: C. Vivian Stringer, Jerry Sloan, John Stockton, David Robinson and Michael Jordan.  For more information on Adam and his work, visit adamport.com.
