As a kid, Adam port used to sketch his favorite athletes.  Two decades later, he still does- except now he gets paid for it.  Discovered by an NBA exec. the photorealist painter (adamport.com) is now a mainstay in sports circles.  His most recent gig was painting 50 NFL Hall of Famers for a gathering last month, but presenting Michael Jordan with a commissioned portrait at his HOF induction remains a highlight of Port's career- even if the moment was brief:"I shook hands with him, said I was pleased to meet him.  Then I was escorted away by security.  I guess it was a long weekend for him."
